Dyslexia and SpLD information.

According to the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) ten percent of the population are believed to be dyslexic. Dyslexia can have a significant impact during education and sadly is still often poorly understood. As a fully qualified Dyslexia/SpLD teacher I can offer the right support for learners to help discover their strengths, talents as well as effective ways to learn and the positives to thinking differently.

“Kate has been fantastic with our son, we’ve already noticed a big difference in only a matter of weeks. He always comes out of his lessons with lots of positive things to say which is lovely to hear. He is slowly gaining more confidence with his work and this is all down to Kate, she’s been amazing.”

“Kate is so nice. She is very creative when we work as she finds ways to make learning fun. You also get rewarded for the work you do. I really enjoy my sessions with Kate.”

“I feel so much more confident in class; my writing has improved - I can actually get down on paper what I am thinking in my head!”
